Kay Syrad’s poetry has been widely published in journals and anthologies and her second full collection Inland, is forthcoming in October. She is poetry editor for the international poetry journal ENVOI and writes reviews and articles for a number of other publications. She has also published two novels, The Milliner and the Phrenologist (2009/reprinted 2012) and Send (2015). She often collaborates with artists, working with Chris Drury on a Cape Farewell residency with organic farmers (see Exchange, 2015) and has exhibited a number of art-text works, including 1000 tasks: work of the lightship men (2013) which was purchased by the National Maritime Museum in London. www.kaysyrad.co.uk
