Peter O’Leary’s most recent book is Phosphorescence of Thought (Cultural Society). A new book of poetry, The Sampo, and a new book of criticism, Thick and Dazzling Darkness: Religious Poetry in a Secular Age, are forthcoming. He lives in Oak Park, Illinois, teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and at the University of Chicago, and edits Verge Books.
