Robert Fountaine-Holman has worn many hats in his young life–father, career mentor on a college campus, District Chairman Fatherhood Initiative of his fraternity Omega Psi Phi, teacher in USDA AgDiscovery, prison guard and teacher in Missouri at the Missouri State Penitentiary and Women’s Eastern Reception & Diagnostic Center. He has had work published in Lincoln University Arts & Letters, Langston Hughes Times, Cave Canem magazine and Brevity, and is working on a series of creative nonfiction on fatherhood/his grandfather and magical realist fiction that is a godchild of Ben Okri and Toni Morrison. He loves to compete in barbecue competitions and horseshoe throwing championships.
